My niece Sydney is a budding photographer. Her photos reflect the exuberance of youth, and these pictures are some of my favorites. The kids are caught in mid-air, completely absorbed in their play. For me, these pictures define happiness, that sense of unadulterated joy and freedom that we all felt as children and spend a lifetime trying to retrace.
