This is one of my favorite movie scenes ever, the dance sequence in Jean-Luc Godard’s Bande à Part, 1964. This incredibly romantic scene embodies all the great things about the movie, its exhilarating sense of freedom and irreverence. Sami Frey, Claude Brasseur, and Anna Karina were just perfect in their roles. Other great scenes were the 1-minute silence and the run through the Louvre. I think I have to watch this movie again soon.
